 Topic: FREEDOM FROM OPPRESSION OF THE MIND

We all have enemies, l mean the devil who is always planning against people, family, marriages, Ministries, Ministers of God and individuals. This plans can work only if you open the door for it. One of the ways you can open the door for the devil is through the mind. Many a times, people are under the oppression of the devil in their minds. They do not know actually that it is the devil oppressing them. The enemies always attack the mind.

    When you trust in God your mind stays on God and you will be at peace. 

Anything that troubles your mind and makes it not to be at peace is an oppression of the devil. One of your evidence of your trust and proof of your faith is rest in God.

    (3 John 1:2) As your soul prospers so is your body. Your soul's prosperity affects your physical prosperity. If what you think always is goodness, the goodness will be around you. A lot of things are inside people's mind e.g corruption, death, sickness and will affect their psyche, relationship, attitude, behavior, body, health. God want you to be healthy.

    Matt 5:15 The man was cutting himself because he was in his wrong mind. When you are in your wrong mind, you misbehave. When the mind is wrong a lot of things will be wrong. Oppression of the mind do not answer to drugs, treatment or medicine. When a person is oppress the mind will be wrong, mostly when a demon is in charge and is attached to the person.

  INSTRUMENT TO OPPRESSION OF THE MIND

(1). Through unsanctified and unedifying words Job 19:2

(2). (Judges 16:16) Satan brings oppression through words you hear

(3). Obscene sight: Anything design to promote indecency, lust, immorality through pictures. (2 Pet 2:8, 2 King 4:7)

Note: Satan uses disaster to oppress people's mind too (1 Sam 30:6)

(4). Through troubles and cares of life (Ps 6:3; Lk 12: 29)

(5). Unpalatable apprehensive outcome John 12:27. Anything that destroys the peace of your mind will affect your heart at last. If you can keep your mind healthy, you will be healthy.

(6). Through broken dreams, visions and promises Job 17:11. When plans, possession that delights the soul are shattered.

MARKS YOU'LL SEE WHEN THE MIND IS OPPRESSED

(1).  Lustful feelings, thoughts of lust

(2). Compulsive anger and range

(3).  Fear and suspicion

(4). Doubt and double mindedness

(5). Abnormal glueminess. This is when the thoughts are dark, evil and unclean.

(6). Hearing of voices. It is demonic

(7). Seeing unreal imagery

(8). Mental instability

(9). Lost of contact with reality

(10). Disturbances of thought and language. It leads to withdrawal from people.

Prayer point:

(1). (2 Cor 10:3-6) l pull down everything stronghold of thoughts oppressing my my mind in Jesus name

(2) (Phil 4:8-9) God, l refuse to think negative thoughts but l bring my heart to think God's thought only in Jesus name

(3). I declare that l have the mind of Christ and think godly thoughts only
